Basis of our health claims

Amaru Labs places the highest value on transparency and legal compliance. All health claims regarding our products are based exclusively on health claims reviewed and approved by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in accordance with EU Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 and subsequent amendments.

This regulation ensures that only scientifically proven and officially approved health claims may be used in the advertising of food and food supplements.

Ingredients without approved health claims

Some of our products contain ingredients (such as certain botanicals, extracts, or amino acids) for which no approved health claims exist under EU Regulation 1924/2006. Therefore, we are not permitted to make any health claims regarding these ingredients.

Where indicated, traditional uses are based on historical practices of various cultures. These do not constitute health claims within the meaning of the EU regulation.

General information on plant substances, extracts, and amino acids can be found in scientific literature, which is also available online.

Quality standards

Our products are developed and manufactured according to the highest quality standards:

NEURO COCOA

Neuro Cocoa is a food supplement with natural ingredients. The following health claims for the nutrients it contains are scientifically proven and approved by the EU:

Creatine (3,000mg per serving)

Creatine increases physical performance during explosive strength training during short-term, intense physical activity. The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 3g of creatine.

Zinc (10mg per serving)

  • Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood.
  • Zinc contributes to normal fertility and normal reproduction.
  • Zinc contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism.

Magnesium (from magnesium bisglycinate, 56mg elemental magnesium per serving)

  • Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance.
  • Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function.
  • Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism.

Vitamin B6 (2mg per serving)

  • Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
  • Vitamin B6 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Vitamin B6 contributes to normal psychological function.
  • Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy metabolism.

Cocoa flavanols (at least 200mg from 5,000-6,000mg raw cocoa per serving)

Cocoa flavanols contribute to maintaining the elasticity of blood vessels, which contributes to normal blood flow. This beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 200 mg of cocoa flavanols.

Other ingredients

Neuro Cocoa also contains the following ingredients for which no EU-approved health claims are available:

  • Maca extract: Peruvian Andean plant from the Andes highlands, traditionally used in the Peruvian diet
  • Rhodiola Rosea: Traditionally used as an adaptogen plant to strengthen resistance
  • Shilajit: Natural mineral mixture from the Himalayas, traditionally used in Ayurvedic practice
  • Panax Ginseng: Traditionally valued as a tonic in Asian culture
  • L-Theanine: Amino acid that occurs naturally in green tea
  • L-Tyrosine: Amino acid that occurs naturally in protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, and dairy products

According to EU Regulation 1924/2006, no approved health claims exist for these ingredients. Therefore, we are not permitted to make any health-related statements regarding these ingredients. The traditional uses mentioned are based on historical practices of various cultures. General information on these plant substances and amino acids can be found (also online) in scientific literature.

TESTOSTERONE BLOOD TEST

Our testosterone blood test is a diagnostic tool for determining your testosterone levels in your blood. The test is performed in a certified German laboratory according to the highest medical standards.

  • Amaru Labs processes your order data (name, address, contact details) to process the order.
  • The analysis and processing of your blood sample as well as the storage of the test results is carried out exclusively by our certified partner laboratory LabClinic / MNB Labor GmbH.

Data processing:

  • Your health data (test results) are stored exclusively by the laboratory and are not transmitted to Amaru Labs.
  • You will receive your test results directly from the lab via secure, encrypted access.
  • All data is processed in accordance with German data protection law (GDPR) and treated confidentially.
